Two figures face to face, a never-ending fight. Wrapped in bright colors, this enterable object was hand-sewn and built.(5.5ftx6ft)
References my parents' divorce as a child externally, and the never-ending internal fight of anxiety.
The arch underwent multiple iterations throughout its construction. The fabric components were entirely hand-sewn, requiring on-the-spot problem-solving when materials ran short. All fabric was sourced from Joann Fabrics during its closing sale, while the foam was obtained second-hand to maintain a sustainable approach.
The design of the teeth also evolved through several prototypes. The initial idea of stretching fabric over cardboard shells was later abandoned in favor of fully stuffed forms that provided greater volume and structural integrity. Each adjustment contributed to refining the sculpture’s tactile and architectural presence.
